No. 1 Gonzaga beats No. 6 Kansas in Thanksgiving game

2017 National Champions and number one ranked team in the preseason rankings, Gonzaga Bulldogs started their season off with an impressive victory over the Kansas Jayhawks in what was the first top-25 match up of the season. The clash of the two titans in Spokane ended up in a 102-90 victory for the Bulldogs.

Georgia’s Freshman Jalen Suggs was the best performer in this game, as he accounted for 24 points and 8 assists for the Bulldogs. His teammates Drew Timme and Corey Kispert respectively scored 25 and 23 points. Senior Marcus Garrett was the only Jayhawk to score over 20 points, he managed to get his team 22 points.
