The star of the game was Washington’s rookie runningback Antonio Gibson. The third round pick rushed for 115 yards, with an average of 5.8 yards per carry. Antonio Gibson also had a career-record 3 touchdowns tonight. This is in contrast with the Cowboys star runningback Ezekiel Elliot, who only came to 32 yards from 10 attempts.
With this win, the Washington take the lead in the NFC East with a 4-7 record. Philadelphia, New York and Dallas all follow closely with 3 wins, a guarantee for an exciting race for the NFC East championship as the end of the season is starting to get near.
